Haiti currently struggles with a lack of regular electricity. Many families spend both the days and the nights without any type of electricity in their homes. Forcing families to resort to the more archaic methods of illuminating their homes such as candles and kerosine lanterns. And in the more fortunate homes, gas or diesel powered generators, which create both air and noise pollution.

Our goal is to create a means for the school to function completely off the electrical grid and be self-sufficient. By investing in sustainable means of electricity such as solar panels, inverters, and lithium batteries, we hope to end the schools dependency on the current power provider. We'd rather harness the power of the sun and foster an environment where opportunity and ideas can thrive in the light!
